I chose to attend Maysville Community and Technical College because the campus is convenient and close to home. As I began thinking about college I realized very early that one of the biggest challenges for me would be juggling single parenthood and attending college fulltime while still trying to hold down a job. It hasn’t been easy but at MCTC the flexible class schedules and the opportunity to work on campus through the Work Study program have made attending college an achievable goal.
